Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana List for West Bengal Announced for 2022-23!


The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a flagship scheme of the Government of India that aims to provide affordable housing to all by the year 2022.


The scheme was launched in 2015 and is currently in its second phase.


Under the scheme, the central government provides financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries for the construction or purchase of their homes. The PMAY scheme is being implemented in all the districts of West Bengal. Some of the districts where a large number of houses have been constructed under the scheme are Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Howrah, Bardhaman, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Nadia, East Midnapore and West Midnapore. The scheme has been successful in providing affordable housing to the people of West Bengal. It is expected that the scheme will continue to benefit a large number of people in the state in the coming years.
